Computing Neuroscientific Software Engineering

Arseny V. Povolotsky is a Scientific Python Developer in the Neuroscientific Software Engineering Section of the Computing Division.

His focus is on next-generation workflow for data-driven model creation and the creation of tools and components for model / simulation analysis. Arseny also interacts with scientific teams on algorithms and supports the scientific staff with regard to best practices for software development.

Before joining Blue Brain, Arseny was a Python / C++ developer at Yandex, Ltd in Russia, where he worked in the team responsible for Yandex.Traffic service.

Arseny has a specialist degree in Applied Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University in Russia and a Masters in Computer Science from Seoul National University, South Korea.
