Alexandre Beche is a Systems Engineer in the Core Services Section of the Computing Division.

In his role at Blue Brain, Alexandre designs & implements the infrastructure monitoring systems as well as a data analytics framework based on spark. In addition, he is promoting easy access to High Performance Computing (HPC) resources through interactive web-based notebook. He also manages shared HPC compute resources and maintains core infrastructure.

Prior to joining Blue Brain, Alexandre was a Fellow at CERN as part of the monitoring team. Here, he was developing and operating applications for the monitoring of world-wide data transfers and data management services for multi Peta-bytes federated data storage.

Alexandre has a Masters in Computer Science from Supinfo International University where he studied in Grenoble and Montreal.

In his spare time, he takes part in a variety of different sports and is a keen reader.
