Ben Morrice is a Senior Systems Engineer in the Core Services Section of the Computing Division.

He focuses on the architecture, deployment and support of all IT infrastructure specific to the Blue Brain. This involves capacity planning, deployment, change management, upgrades and maintenance across many heterogeneous systems.

Following his Bachelor of Information Technology from Charles Sturt University, Australia, Ben has over 15 years’ experience working in IT with over ten of these focused on Linux / open source systems architecture and administration. His experience is gained from a variety of industries (sports betting, finance, events ticketing, IT services, research) across Australia, England, Scotland and Switzerland.

In his free time, Ben goes hiking and enjoys gardening, cooking and travelling.
