Berat Denizdurduran received his MSc degree in Electronics Engineering, as a member of the Neuroscience Modelling and Research Group, from Istanbul Technical University in Turkey. During his Master’s degree, he worked on modelling of the action selection circuit and its implementation on mobile robots. In 2012, Berat joined the Neurorobotics group at the Blue Brain Project as an intern, where he worked on simplification of compartmental neuron models by parameter extraction. After his internship, he started his PhD degree in the Neurorobotics Subproject of the Human Brain Project. He is interested in brain-inspired computational models, reward-based learning, robotics and nonlinear dynamical systems. |
